ACADEMIC WORK
1-4.Semester

ARS NARRANDI
Magazine Debut Issue
Course: Typography
Role: Concept, Layout, Cover Design, & Curation
Description: The objective of this semester project was to conceive and design the debut issue of a premium print magazine focusing on graphic design and visual culture. The expectations for both editorial depth and design quality were exceptionally high. Each article required a bespoke visual language where the typographic layouts directly reflect, support, and enhance the core message of the text.
DATA SHADOWS
The Death of the Original
Course: Design Development & Self- Competence
Role: Lead Concept, Creative Direction, Head of Story, Layout & Cover Design
Description: Created as a university project, this short comic sends "Vincent" (van Gogh) on a surreal journey through a world between life and death. The narrative explores how Artificial Intelligence is reshaping the art world, blurring the lines between original and copy.
Originally developed in German under the title Datenschatten der vergangenen Künstler: Der Tod des Originals, the project features the visual assets in its native language. While the main chapters were a collaborative team effort with mixed visual styles, the overarching story concept and the entire intro sequence were written and illustrated by me.

Book Cover
Book Reinterpretation
Course: Illustration & Representation
Description: The objective of this project was to select a literary work and completely redesign its cover. For my approach, I chose "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" due to its fascinating theme of a split personality.
In contrast to traditional portrayals, I decided to depict the character as younger overall, shifting the primary focus toward the psychological dimension. Mr. Hyde does not appear here as a distinct physical being, but rather as a ghostly, shadowy figure visible only to Jekyll himself.
